The NSS Unit organized a World Environment Day programme on 5 June 2026 at 2:00 PM in the NCHS Seminar Hall. The programme aimed to create awareness among students about environmental conservation and the importance of protecting nature.The resource person for the session was Mr. Rahul Krishnan, Agriculture Officer, Meloor. He delivered an informative talk on environmental protection, sustainable agricultural practices, and the significance of preserving natural resources for future generations. The session encouraged students to actively participate in environmental activities and adopt eco-friendly habits in their daily lives.As part of the observance, students participated in a tree-planting programme. Saplings were planted on the campus to promote greenery and contribute to environmental sustainability. The activity reflected the commitment of the NSS Unit and students towards creating a healthier and greener environment.The programme concluded successfully with active participation from students and faculty members, reinforcing the message of environmental responsibility and conservation.
