On 23rd August 2025, a seminar on Child Sexual Abuse was conducted by women empowerment cell of NCHS. Sixth semester and second semester B Pharm students were attended the session. The session was led by Sr. Dr. Arpita, director of St. Jude family counseling center, who shared valuable insights on the sensitive and pressing issue of child sexual abuse. She highlighted the psychological, emotional, and physical impact of abuse on children, and emphasized the importance of awareness, early detection, and preventive measures. The seminar aimed to educate students and faculty about recognizing signs of abuse, legal protections available, and the role of society in safeguarding children. The session concluded with an interactive Q&A, fostering open dialogue and deeper understanding among attendees.
