The Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry organized a seminar on “Understanding QSAR: The Role of Physicochemical Parameters and Hansch Analysis in Drug Design” on 28th October 2025. The session was led by Dr. P. Manoj Kumar, Professor, Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Lisie College of Pharmacy, Ernakulam. Sixth semester B Pharm students were attended the session. The resource person provided valuable insights into the principles of Quantitative Structure–Activity Relationship (QSAR), emphasizing the significance of physicochemical parameters and the application of Hansch analysis in modern drug design. The seminar helped students understand how molecular properties influence biological activity and how QSAR models support rational drug development.
