As part of the Independence Day celebrations, the college organized “Saluting the Nation” on Thursday, 13th August 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the NCHS Seminar Hall. The programme featured a Patriotic Song Competition and a Patriotic Speech Competition. The speech competition was based on the topic “Patriotism Through Service to Society,” encouraging students to reflect on how serving society can express genuine patriotism. The event was organized by the Constitutional Obligation Cell and NSS. The competitions provided students with an opportunity to express their love for the nation, develop their talents, and understand the importance of responsible citizenship and social service. Overall, “Saluting the Nation” was a meaningful part of the Independence Day celebrations, promoting patriotism, civic responsibility, and service to society among students.
