The Department of Pharmacognosy organized a three-day industrial visit to Megasys for the 8th Semester B.Pharm students from 13th to 15th July 2026. The visit was conducted with the objective of providing students with practical exposure to pharmaceutical industry operations and bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and industrial practices. During the visit, the students were introduced to various departments and gained insights into manufacturing processes, quality assurance, quality control, documentation practices, and regulatory standards followed in the pharmaceutical industry. The technical experts at Megasys explained the workflow, modern equipment, and quality management systems adopted to ensure the production of safe and effective pharmaceutical products. The industrial visit provided an excellent learning opportunity, enabling students to understand industrial operations, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and the importance of maintaining quality standards in pharmaceutical production. The visit also enhanced the students' awareness of career opportunities in the pharmaceutical sector.
