On November 16, 2024, fourth semester B Pharm students of Nirmala College of Health Science, visited the Kerala State Drugs and Pharmaceuticals Ltd. (KSDP) as part of their industrial visit. The visit aimed to provide the students with practical insights into pharmaceutical manufacturing, quality control, and the production processes of essential drugs. During the visit, students observed the various stages of drug production, including formulation, packaging, and quality assurance. The KSDP staff also gave a detailed presentation on the company's operations, safety protocols, and the regulatory requirements in the pharmaceutical industry. This exposure helped the students gain a deeper understanding of the pharmaceutical manufacturing sector and its significance in the healthcare industry.
