A field visit was conducted for 1st and 2nd D. Pharm students on 30/03/2026 to De Paul Smile Village, Pariyaram. During the visit, students observed the patient care, counselling services, and rehabilitation activities designed to support individuals with mental health challenges. The staff provided an overview of treatment approaches, patient management, and the importance of empathy and communication in mental health care. The visit helped students gain a better understanding the role of healthcare professionals, and the importance of holistic care in improving patients’ quality of life.
