An industrial visit was organized for the Second D. Pharm students on 17 August 2026 to KRS Multispecialty Hospital, Chikkamagaluru. The visit aimed to provide students with practical exposure to the functioning of a hospital and to help them understand the various roles and responsibilities of pharmacy professionals in a healthcare setting. During the visit, students gained knowledge about hospital pharmacy operations, medication management, storage and dispensing of medicines, and the importance of maintaining proper records and patient safety. The visit provided valuable practical exposure and helped students relate their classroom learning to real-world hospital practices. The visit was informative and beneficial for the students, enhancing their understanding of hospital pharmacy services and the multidisciplinary nature of healthcare.
