The Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry conducted a training session on “Care and Handling of Laboratory" for laboratory staff on 1 August 2026. The session was
led by Dr. Manju R, Professor, Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry. The programme focused on the proper handling, cleaning, storage, and maintenance of laboratory equipment and glassware. Dr. Manju R emphasized the importance of following standard operating procedures, maintaining cleanliness, preventing contamination, and ensuring the safety of laboratory personnel. Proper precautions while handling chemicals and equipment were also discussed. The session was informative and helped the laboratory staff improve their awareness of safe laboratory practices and the proper care of laboratory equipment.
