Pharm D second year students visited the Department of Pharmacy Practice, Ramaiah University, Bangalore, on 5/11/25 as part of their academic exposure program. Mr. Vijeesh T S and Ms. Judit Joseph, faculties of Pharmacy Practice Department were accompanied with students. The session was coordinated by Dr. Saraswathy, Head of the Department of Pharmacy Practice. During the visit, students were given valuable insights into various clinical pharmacy activities carried out in the associated hospital. The resource persons also emphasized the importance of research and publications in advancing clinical pharmacy practice and encouraged students to participate in scholarly activities. The visit provided students with an excellent opportunity to understand the role and responsibilities of clinical pharmacists in a hospital setting and to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application.
