The department of Pharmacology organized an industrial visit for the 4th Semester B.Pharm students on 11th September 2026 to the Rajiv Gandhi Centre for Biotechnology (RGCB), Thiruvananthapuram. The visit was aimed at providing students with practical exposure to modern biotechnology and its applications in pharmaceutical and biomedical sciences. During the visit, the students were introduced to various research activities and laboratory facilities related to biotechnology, molecular biology, genetic research, and biomedical sciences. The students gained an understanding of laboratory techniques, research methodologies, and the role of biotechnology in the development of medicines, diagnostics, and healthcare solutions. The visit provided an excellent opportunity for students to connect their theoretical knowledge with practical applications. It also helped them understand the importance of research and technological advancements in the pharmaceutical field.
