The workshop on drug design, conducted by the Pharmaceutical Chemistry Department of NCHS on 1st February 2025, focused on the In silico approach in drug development. Dr. Sanal Dev, professor cum HoD of Chemistry Department, AlShifa college of Pharmacy Malappuram was the chief guest of the function. 5th semester B Pharm students actively participated in the workshop. This method enables researchers to streamline the drug discovery process by predicting the efficacy, toxicity, and pharmacokinetics of drug candidates before experimental testing. The workshop highlighted the importance of techniques in reducing the time and cost associated with traditional drug development and providing participants with valuable insights into modern drug design strategies.
