World Environment Day was celebrated on June 5th, 2025, by the National Service Scheme (NSS) of NCHS and in association with the Family Health Centre, Poolani. The event aimed to raise awareness about environmental protection and promote sustainable living practices. NSS volunteers of fourth and seventh semester B Pharm and faculties were attended the programme. The program began with a brief inaugural session, followed by a tree plantation drive involving NSS volunteers, healthcare staff, and local residents. A health-environment interaction session were also conducted, highlighting the link between a clean environment and public health. The collaboration showcased a united effort toward preserving nature and fostering community participation in environmental initiatives.
