NSS and department of pharmacy practice of NCHS was conducted an awareness session about hypertension on 23rd May 2025 at 2.30 PM in NCHS seminar hall with the aim of educating participants about the causes, symptoms, prevention, and management of high blood pressure. Faculties and students were attended the programme. Dr. Rinett Sebastian, cardiothoracic and vascular surgeon, Apollo adlux hospital, Angamaly was the speaker of the session. The session highlighted the importance of regular blood pressure monitoring, a balanced diet, regular exercise, stress management, and adherence to prescribed medications. Healthcare professionals shared practical tips and answered questions from the attendees. The event successfully raised awareness about the silent nature of hypertension and emphasized the importance of early detection and lifestyle changes in preventing complications.
