The Women Empowerment Cell organized an Awareness Program on World Population Day on Thursday, 9th July 2026, from 2:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the NCAS Seminar Hall. The resource person for the session was Dr. Mercy C. V., Obstetrics, Gynecology & Reproductive Medicine, Apollo Adlux Hospital, Karukutty. Dr. Mercy delivered an informative talk on the significance of World Population Day, emphasizing population growth, reproductive health, family planning, women's health, and the importance of creating awareness for sustainable development. The session was interactive and engaging, with students actively participating in the discussion and clarifying their doubts. The program successfully enhanced awareness among the participants about responsible population management and the role of individuals in promoting a healthy and sustainable society. The awareness program concluded with a vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to the resource person and all the participants for making the event a success.
