The Department of Pharmacy Practice, NCHS, successfully organized PHARMVISTA – International Seminar on Bridging Global Pharmacy Models with Indian Pharmacy Practice, on 11th February 2026. The seminar aimed to explore global advancements in pharmacy education and practice while aligning them with the evolving needs of Indian healthcare systems. The event featured distinguished resource persons including Prof. Dr. M. Chandra Sekar, Professor Emeritus and Fulbright Nehru Scholar 2023 from the University of Findlay, USA, who delivered an insightful talk on “Global Perspectives: Adapting US Pharmacy Practices for Indian Pharmacy Graduates.” His session emphasized integrating international best practices into Indian pharmacy education and patient care. Another eminent speaker, Dr. Karthik Rakam, CEO of Avenida Innovations, India, and Founder of Avenida Academy, presented on “Pharmacopreneurship: Turning Clinical Knowledge into Sustainable Ventures.” He inspired participants to leverage clinical expertise into innovative and sustainable healthcare enterprises. Students of various colleges were attended the session. The seminar provided a dynamic platform for students and professionals to gain global insights, entrepreneurial motivation, and a broader vision for advancing pharmacy practice in India.
