On June 30, 2025, a Drug Abuse Awareness Class was conducted at VBUP School, Poolany by the National Service Scheme (NSS) of NCHS in collaboration with the Indian Pharmaceutical Association (IPA). The program aimed to educate young students about the dangers of drug abuse and the importance of making healthy life choices. The session included informative talks by healthcare professionals and student volunteers, who explained the harmful effects of drugs on the body and mind in a simple and age-appropriate manner. Students were encouraged to stay away from drugs, peer pressure, and unhealthy habits. The event was interactive, featuring engaging discussions and activities that helped students gain a deeper understanding of the topic. It was a valuable initiative to raise awareness and promote a drug-free lifestyle among the younger generation.
