A Capacity Building Programme titled “From Student to Leader: Team Management Skills for Pharmacy Professionals” was organized for the Sixth Semester B.Pharm students on 31st August 2026, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. The programme was organized by the IEDC & IIC. The session was delivered by Dr. Aneena Suresh, Associate Professor, Department of Pharmacy Practice, NCHS, Chalakudy. The programme aimed to equip students with essential leadership and team management competencies required for their professional development as future pharmacy professionals. The session highlighted the significance of effective teamwork, communication, leadership, delegation, coordination, and conflict management in professional practice. The speaker also emphasized the importance of developing interpersonal and managerial skills for effective collaboration in healthcare settings. The programme was informative and enriching, providing the students with valuable insights into leadership development and effective team management. The session contributed significantly to enhancing the students’ professional competencies and preparing them for future leadership roles in the pharmacy profession.
