The industrial visit to BYMAA Laboratories, Puducherry, was successfully conducted on 30th March 2026 for 6th semester B.Pharm students, organized by the Pharmaceutics Department. The visit aimed to provide practical exposure to pharmaceutical manufacturing processes and bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and industrial practices. During the visit, students observed various sections of the facility, including production, quality control, and packaging units, gaining insights into tablet and capsule manufacturing, GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), and quality assurance procedures. The technical staff explained equipment operation, documentation practices, and regulatory requirements followed in the industry. The visit was highly informative and helped students understand real-world applications of pharmaceutics concepts, enhancing their professional knowledge and readiness for future careers in the pharmaceutical sector.
