The 1st year D.Pharm students of NCHS visited Care Keralam Confederation for Ayurvedic Renaissance Keralam Limited, Koratty on 18th June 2026. The field visit was organized by the Department of D.Pharm, NCHS with the objective of providing students with practical exposure to the Ayurvedic pharmaceutical industry. During the visit, the students were introduced to the manufacturing processes of Ayurvedic medicines, quality control procedures, raw material handling, and modern production facilities. The officials of CARE Keralam explained the importance of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), quality assurance, and the role of the organization in promoting the Ayurvedic healthcare sector. The visit was highly informative and helped students understand the practical aspects of pharmaceutical manufacturing while enhancing their knowledge of the Ayurvedic industry. Overall, the industrial visit was a valuable learning experience for all the participants.
