The Department of Pharmacology organized a meaningful and compassionate visit to a local old age home (St. Stanny Bhavan, Tavalappara) on 8th August 2025 with second semester B Pharm students of NCHS. During the visit, students engaged with the residents through conversation, basic health assessments, and interactive activities. The elderly shared life experiences, and students responded with respect and attentiveness, fostering a bridge between generations. The visit was a heart-warming social interaction that left a lasting impression on students. It encouraged them to consider the emotional and psychological aspects of patient care—an essential part of their training as future healthcare professionals.
