On 15th October 2025, the NSS Unit of NCHS, in association with the LIONS Club Meloor, conducted an awareness class on Drug Abuse and Traffic Awareness for pharmacy students. The session aimed to educate students on the harmful effects of drug abuse and the importance of responsible behaviour on the road. Experts from the LIONS Club and local authorities provided valuable insights into the physical, psychological, and social consequences of substance abuse. The session also highlighted key traffic rules, safety practices, and the legal implications of violations, particularly for young drivers. The interactive session encouraged active participation and helped students understand their role in promoting a healthier, safer society. The initiative was well-received and emphasized the need for continued awareness among youth, especially in the healthcare sector.
