The Cancer Awareness Day class held on 4th February 2025, conducted by the Pharmacy Practice Department of NCHS, focused on raising awareness about cancer prevention, early detection, and treatment. Dr. Philip George Kuttikat, Consultant Medical Oncologist at Apollo Adlux Hospital was the resource person of the session. The session aimed to educate attendees on the importance of understanding cancer risks, lifestyle factors, and the latest advancements in cancer care. B Pharm, Pharm D and D Pharm students and faculties attended the session. It highlighted the significance of community awareness in combating cancer and promoting healthier lifestyles. The class was a valuable initiative to empower individuals with knowledge to take proactive steps in cancer prevention and management.
